Pit & Peak

Friday, it has certainly been too long since I saw you last!  It feels like it has been much longer than a week, let me tell you.  My readers are actually already sick of hearing how long this week has dragged on since I've been talking about it in every post.  But you're finally here and that's the important thing, right?

In addition to bringing me a new episode of Nikita to watch tonight you also bring the wonderfully awesome Pit & Peak link up with Allie and Brin.

I'm going to start off with the Pits because I want to end on a good note since it's Friday and all.

This week dragged by!  You probably knew that one was coming since I was bitching about it in every post I did this week.  It's true though.  I work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week and every single one of them felt like they were the longest days of my life.

There's a reason why my work days dragged by this week though.  It was the first full week I went without being able to read a book when there was down time.  When you can't read a book and you aren't supposed to be on your phone (I am but secret agent style) there isn't much else to do at work when there is no work but look at the clock.  Last week we had some big wigs in taking a look at what we do and since they were in we haven't been allowed to have books or cell phones out.  Why?  Because we're overstaffed currently and apparently it makes it look worse that we're doing non-work related things while we're there.  I get that, I do, but is me sitting there staring a screen with no work to do any better?  At least I'm quietly reading to myself and not chatting it up all day, in my opinion.

Now, on to the good stuff!  Let's talk about the Peaks of my week.

The scale has been my friend the last two weeks.  I lost another 2.4 pounds on Wednesday without doing a damn thing.  Not going to lie, it made me smile and put me in a good mood for Wednesday.

One of my favorite shows Nashville came back after taking a couple of weeks off from new episodes.  This is only its first season but I hope it's around for a while.  I mentioned in Wednesday's post how I record it just so I can fast forward through the commercials because I don't have time to wait 3 minutes to find out what's going to happen next.  If the show was longer than an hour I would love it.  Even better would be if there wasn't a week in between episodes.  Seriously, I love the show.

I guess I only had two pits and two peaks this week.  Not much else I want to complain or get excited about so I'll leave it at that.  I hope everyone else had a great week!
